Ruth-Helen Camden

Registered psychologist and IST practitioner
(PSY0001241154)

Even after more than 20 years of practising as an IST practitioner, this work is a joy. Inside every person is a treasure waiting to be found. Beyond all the issues and problems, I see it as my job is to help you find this and live it.

Before becoming a psychologist I trained as a naturopath and homeopath. These skills are useful however IST has always been the mainstay of my practice. With IST I am always looking for the source. Not accepting band-aid solutions, but real inner shifts. The changes people make in themselves are real, practical, and profound.

Like every IST practitioner, my training has included hundreds hours of ISIS and other meditative practices, in the courses and retreats with Clairvision School. This means my ISIS skills are grounded in a vast store of practical experience, and powered by the depth and clarity I have gained in myself. I know this stuff works, I have seen it for myself.

Since 1990 I've worked as an IST practitioner in Sydney, Australia. I have also taught numerous courses in IST.

"In my twenties I loved motorcycles and skydiving. But the speed and exhilaration always left me wanting more. What would it be like to feel that alive and awake all the time?

"When I began to do ISIS and to meditate regularly, things started to change. Insecurities fell away and there was a sense of the real me emerging. Life had more depth, fascination and meaning. And best of all, I could feel the sense of awakening I had once snatched in moments of adventure sports emerging as something real and tangible in myself.

"Beyond fixing the issues and problems of life, facilitating this coming-to-life process in others is my most important reason for being an IST practitioner."
